Ping Pong Playa is directed by Jessica Yu and is written by her and Jimmy Tsai. It’s a comedy and it has been doing the rounds on the festival circuit. I’ve watched the trailer and seen a few clips and it’s looking really good.
It has a genuine feel to it. Jessica Yu could have a “cult” hit on her hands having cut her teeth in film by directing stuff like Grey’s Anatomy. For now, enjoy the stills above and clip below as I don’t know when it’s in cinemas in the UK.
