From the producer of Harry Potter and Gravity, Paddington comes to the big screen for the first time in an epic new adventure.

Featuring an all-star cast and effects courtesy of award-winning VFX company Framestore, Paddington is THE big family film of Christmas.

Voted Best Animated Character at the 2012 British Animation Awards, and adapted from Michael Bond’s beloved books, Paddington follows the comic misadventures of a polite young bear with an endearing talent for comic chaos.

Paddington has grown up deep in the Peruvian jungle with his Aunt Lucy who, inspired by a chance encounter with an English explorer, has raised her nephew to dream of an exciting life in London. When an earthquake destroys their home, Aunt Lucy decides to smuggle her young nephew on board a boat bound for England, in search of a better life. Arriving alone at Paddington Station, Paddington soon finds that city life is not all he had imagined – until he meets the kindly Brown family, who find him with a label tied around his neck which reads ‘Please look after this bear. Thank you.’ They offer him a temporary home whilst he searches for the explorer who impressed Aunt Lucy all those years before.

But when Paddington catches the eye of a sinister, seductive taxidermist, it isn’t long before his home – and very existence – is under threat …

The Grand Seduction Starring Brendan Gleeson & Taylor Kitsch

Watch the trailer for the upcoming comedy “The Grand Seduction” starring Brendan Gleeson (In Bruges) and Taylor Kitsch (Friday Night Lights).

Heart-warming and laugh out loud funny, “The Grand Seduction” will be released across the UK & Ireland on August 29th.

Brendan Gleeson is Murray, a once proud fisherman who now, along with his former colleagues in the harbour of Tickle Head are out of work and forced to live off welfare. Prohibited from fishing enough to make a living and the community spirit having faded a long time ago, the Mayor comes up with a dazzling plan – a giant corporation need a location to build a factory and Tickle Head could be just the right place. But there’s just one problem – in order to qualify, they must have a doctor in residence. Which they don’t have.

When the Mayor leaves the harbour and takes a job at the airport, he fortuitously stumbles upon Paul Lewis (Taylor Kitsch), an American cricket fanatic and more importantly a doctor, who he convinces to do a one month stint as the local physician. To encourage Paul to commit to the job for the required 5 years by the Corporation, the townsfolk acquaint themselves with his favourite sport with hilarious consequences, tap his phone to discern his likes/dislikes and do everything in their power to make him feel at home. What ensues is an all-out seduction with Murray enthusiastically encouraging the elaborate deception that will be his only way back to an honest job and a happier way of life.

    Mr. Morgan’s Last Love

Two-time Academy Award© winner Michael Caine (Get Carter, Alfie, The Dark Knight) and the hugely talented Clémence Poésy (Harry Potter) star in the upcoming Mr. Morgan’s Last Love, a bitter-sweet Parisian-set romance, from director Sandra Nettelbeck (No Reservations).

Mr. Morgan’s Last Love is an emotionally charged tale of a lonely American widower in Paris who learns to love life again after a chance encounter with a beautiful and vibrant young woman.

From the day Pauline (Clémence Poésy) lends him a helping hand on the bus, the stubborn, weary Matthew Morgan (Michael Caine) stumbles back to happiness. Swept off his old feet by the young woman’s disarming vitality and unwavering optimism, the quiet teacher becomes an unlikely student of living. In their everyday adventures of walks through Paris, lunches in the park, and trips to the country, the odd couple explores the treasures of friendship, the comfort of companionship, the taste of romance – and the meaning of family. Through their mutual restoration of faith in people who care, Pauline embraces the idea of a new kind of family while Matthew finally reconnects with his estranged son Miles (Justin Kirk), who in turn finds himself deeply affected by the changes in his father.

Mr. Morgan’s Last Love will be released by Arrow Films in select cinemas across the UK on July 11th following the Irish theatrical release on July 4th. The film will be available on demand and digital to own and rent from August 18th and released on DVD on September 1st, 2014.
