  • Bad Boys 3 – No Need

The ever excellent Latino Review have details of Bad Boys 3, and its’ writer.

Well, it looks like Columbia wants Will Smith and Martin Lawrence to return as Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett for some Bay-directed car chases sometime soon, because the studio has hired Peter Craig to write a screenplay promising enough to lure back the expensive trifecta of Smith, Bay and Lawrence.”

Will someone please rub Mr Bay?

  • The Smurfs Poster

Tim emailed me this teaser poster for The Smurfs. In CGI. Nice Scarface tagline there. Do they get chainsawed to death in a bathtub by any chance?

  • Did You Love The Descent?

Well, The Descent 2 is coming, and below is the trailer.

What’s it about I hear you ask?

Shauna Macdonald returns as Sarah, continuing the story of 2005’s horror thriller The Descent, in which a group of young women disappear during a caving trip in the Appalachian Mountains. Emerging from the cave system alone, distraught and covered in the blood of her missing companions, Sarah is incoherent and half-wild with fear. Sceptical about her account of events and convinced Sarah’s psychosis hides far darker secrets, Sheriff Vaines (Gavan O’Herlihy) doesn’t waste time. Along with his partner Rios (Krysten Cummings), and their cave rescue team Dan (Douglas Hodge), Greg (Joshua Dallas), and Cath (Anna Skellern), Vaines forces Sarah back into the caves to help the rescuers find her friends.

    Enjoy.

  • Disvel Or Marney

I found this on JoBlo (via Marketwatch), but most of the webworld have gone crazy with this news. It looks like Disney are to acquire comic/movie powerhouse Marvel for $4billion. A nice but of business for Walt, but a strange one…

Will future film form Marvel’s canon become watered down?!
    Are crossover films a possibly?
Iron Man 3 – straight to DVD?

    So many questions.

  • No 3D Hobbit

    No 3D Hobbit

“I can safely say that, as of this moment, there are absolutely no conversations about doing The Hobbit in 3D.”

Guillermo del Toro puts his foot down. Thanks for Film Misery for the foot stamping.
