2008.

When we first started, back in 2008.  I decided on the black background ‘to look different than all the others’!  I often think about going back to this look.  I thought it looked good, I dunno.  There are no frills whatsoever.  The Dark Knight and Quantum Of Solace were the big two films at the time.  Lots to talk about with those two movies.  Just the five contributors at the time…

2009.

Ah, we were a year older.  So we knew what we were doing, right?  Very sparse looking.  I remember there wasn’t many images on the site at this time for some reason.  Streamlining the categories was sweet.  And the list of contributors started to grow quickly.  Twitter was on the scene too.  A chance to connect with more film lovers!  We had a great promotion with the film, 9.
