Film fans have the chance to relive a host of cinema classics on the big screen in stunning 4K definition as part of Vue’s 4K season at selected venues across the country* from July – November 2017.

Iconic titles from the 70’s and 80’s have been remastered so that they look better than ever before, thanks to the removal of unwanted scratches and noises, while colours are enhanced to be as good as new.

Screenings include the coming of age classic, The Breakfast Club, American cyberpunk action film, Robocop and Close Encounters of the Third Kind which was widely regarded as years ahead of its time in special effects. Scorsese’s infamous neo-noir vigilante film, Taxi Driver and multi-award winning comedy-drama The Graduate, starring Dustin Hoffman also top the bill of all-time movie masterpieces.

Johnny Carr, Alternative Content Manager at Vue, commented: “At Vue we’re passionate about offering our customers a wide range of amazing content on the big screen beyond just the latest blockbusters. We are excited to bring back such classic films for fans to relive in the best way possible with Sony’s industry-leading 4K projectors.”
