You enjoy watching movies but are having trouble finding one you haven’t watched yet?

Blanket allows you to quickly and without much effort choose a film, curl up under a blanket and enjoy.

Blanket

Blanket

Blanket, the mobile app, was made by movie lovers for movie lovers. Blanket enables you to find good movie recommendations in the quickest and easiest way, as well as allowing you to share your own thoughts on a movie, recommend it and/or warn people not to waste time on it. Blanket is different from IMDb and other movie review platforms in the sense that Blanket enables users to choose, on their own, which people to follow and whose opinions and ratings to see on his own feed. All of Blanket’s functions were made with the purpose to provide users with access to the most relevant movie recommendations and ratings, as well as the opportunity to easily connect with movie lovers that share the same or similar taste in movies.

Blanket was created as an answer to three of the most common problems cinephiles are faced with: 1) indecisiveness when choosing which movie to watch, 2) forgetfulness when recommending movies to friends and 3) forgetting our friends’ recommendations.

Blanket’s goal is to solve these problems by enabling you to: 1) follow your friends or people in whose taste in movies you trust, 2) praise good movies or warn about bad ones in real time and 3) create your own virtual list of movies to watch (watchlist) based on the recommendations you see on your feed.

The creators of Blanket, teambuilding!

The creators of Blanket are a team of not-so-young people (whose average age is lowered by the students working at the office) who decided to merge business and pleasure, that is development of mobile software and movie watching.

Mladen Šimić, Ivan Kovač and Mateja Bartolović have met during their student days. After finishing university, Ivan and Mateja moved to Sweden, where they have worked on perfecting their programming and design skills. In the meantime, Mladen was in Zagreb working on his, now successful, project WhyKnot? with the goal of preventing headphones from tangling up in your pockets. After returning from Sweden, the three have decided to found the company Cinnamon Ltd. and convert their ideas into reality.
