Audiences will be spoilt for choice over the coming months at Vue with a wide variety of special event cinema screenings, ranging from classical opera performances, beautiful ballets and concert
movies featuring some of the UK’s most popular music artists.

Get up close and personal with one of the UK’s most controversial figures at the screening of Guardian Live: In Conversation with Russell Brand at selected Vue sites‘ on 23″ October. Brand talks
to the Guardian’s renowned journalist and commentator Owen Jones about why he thinks revolution isn’tjust possible, but inevitable. Drawing on the likes of OnNell and Piketty, he sets out
his ideas for a brighter, fairer society.

The worlds of art and music collide with the screening of David Bowie is Happening Now at selected Vue sites‘ on 18″ November. This unique event will be the last opportunity to experience the V&A’s exhibition of the David Bowie archive in the UK before it goes on international tour. The film will be introduced by exhibition curators Victoria Broackes and Geoffrey Marsh, and features special guests offering an insight into the stories behind some of the 300 objects from the collection, many of
which had never before been displayed in public.



Usher in the festive season with the Royal Opera House Live production of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland at selected Vue sites‘ on 16″ December. Beautifully designed and creatively reimagined, Christopher Wheeldon’s balletic re-telling of Lewis Carroll’s beloved story is a delight for families and dance lovers alike. Brimming with fantastic references to other classical performances, such as The Sleeping Beauty, the ballet creates a magical atmosphere using a combination of fantastic choreography, a witty score and astounding design.

Finally, ballet buffs can catch the Bolshoi Ballet production of The Nutcracker on 21“ December at selected Vue sites‘. Experience the wonder of Tchaikovsky’s incomparable score, hundreds of
dazzling costumes and a tree that magically grows and grows in the definitive Christmas must-see for families.
